Bike School helps you get started

Ylläs Bike School serves both beginners and more experienced mountain bikers who want to achieve the perfect technique. Our modern equipment and safety gear guarantee a pleasant and memorable experience at Finland’s largest bike park!

Downhill biking is a fun, fast-paced activity that can be challenging in a fell setting. Learning the basics with a teacher is much easier and nicer than alone. We offer both courses and private lessons.

Description

 During the course, participants will learn how to control the bike on flat ground and in the training area. They will also become familiar with the children’s tracks and learn how to use the carpet lift. 

Practical Information

A proper, working mountain bike with hand operated brakes affecting both wheels is needed. A helmet and gloves are also required, a full-face type helmet and other protectors (knee, elbow…) are recommended.

Hill Ski Rent shop next to the gondola provides solutions to all equipment demands.

Please arrive at least half an hour before the lesson starts to allow enough time to rent the necessary equipment.

You don't need a lift ticket during the course

The course requires a minimum of two participants, or the length of the course will be shortened accordingly.
