Welcome to the Ylläs Ski School online store!

How to proceed

1.Choose first which side of the fell you prefer, Ylläsjärvi SOUTH or Äkäslompolo NORTH.

2. Choose the course that suits you best – either a private lesson or a group lesson.

3. Select the date and time from the calendar.

4. Once you've completed the payment, you will receive a booking confirmation by email.

When making your purchase, please also choose whether you'd like your lesson with skis or a snowboard, whick is your skill level, language of insturction..


GOOD TO KNOW:

If an adult joins a ski school lesson with a child, they must accept that the instructor will always focus more on the children. Separate lessons are recommended to ensure the best learning experience for everyone.

Arriving

Arrive in good time. Atleast 30 min before if hire equipment is needed. 

All participants have to have same equipment's

Clothing

Wearing a helmet is mandatory in all ski school lessons.

Weather can change quickly in Ylläs, dress warmly and according to the weather.

Ticket

A lift ticket is required during the class.

You can buy ticket online or from ticket offices.

Cancellation Policy

If the minimum number of participants for the course (2) is not reached, the course will be cancelled.

If the course is canceled by ski school you will be reached the day before by ski school info.

- Fully refundable up to 14 days before the course starts.

- Less than 14 days: 50% of the paid amount will be refunded.

- Less than 24 hours: no refund.

In a private lesson, you’ll receive personalized instruction tailored to your individual needs and goals — whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your technique.

You can also book a private lesson for a small group, such as with friends or family. For the best experience, we recommend that all participants have a similar skill level, so everyone can get the most out of the lesson.

When purchasing a course, please remember to choose your equipment: skis or snowboard.

Practical Information

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY:

Arriving

-Arrive on time

-The meeting point is at the Vekkuli carpet lift (the tube carpet lift). Your instructor will meet you there

Equipment

-If you need equipment, please arrive at the rental office at least 30 minutes before the lesson starts to ensure you have enough time to get ready

-All participants must have the same type of equipment

-You can hire equipment's here

Clothes

-Helmets are mandatory for all ski school lessons

-The weather in Ylläs can change quickly, so please dress warmly and according to the conditions

Ticket

-Please make sure to purchase your lift ticket before the lesson begins

-Tickets are available online or at the ticket desk on the ground floor of the Taiga building
